Over the years of teaching I have realised that art is not just about learning to paint or create. 

 I didn’t  know at the time that so many students decided to join my art classes because for one reason or another they needed a positive change in their lives, or they wanted to do something for themselves. 

One of my student’s once said to me..  ”you do realise what you are actually doing for your students.”

I said “yes, teaching them how to paint” !!

She smiled, and said...
